Nevada First Responders are Better Prepared to Save Lives

Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation recently granted more than $79,000 worth of equipment to Nevada’s first responders, meeting critical needs in the community.

Awarded equipment included:

  • 16 sets of bunker gear to the City of Reno Fire Department, helping protect firefighters from the heat and hazardous situations they face daily
  • An all-terrain vehicle (ATV) to Washoe County Sheriff’s Office for rapid response to off-road medical incidents and natural disasters, as well as easier access at large events
  • A set of extrication equipment to Central Lyon County Fire Protection District, helping firefighters safely and efficiently remove car accident and structural collapse victims in need of medical attention

“Our first responders really do take care of us and we feel fortunate and lucky we are able to do this, especially in these times, to take care of them. Thank you to the many donors who support the mission of our Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation.” – Damon Kreizenbeck, Firehouse Subs Franchisee
