Helping Prepare Ontario First Responders to Save Lives

After receiving a variety of rescue tools in the fall of 2023, LaSalle Fire Service used their granted stabilization equipment to quickly rescue the driver of an overturned vehicle on a snowy February morning. The tools were critical in helping firefighters stabilize the vehicle before freeing him from his vehicle.

Granted Tools Used:
Stabilization Struts: Tools used to stabilize a vehicle prior to extricating trapped patients.

Rescue Airbags: Used to lift vehicles after car accidents to rescue patients safely and efficiently.
