Orillia Firefighters Make Lifesaving Rescue with Newly Granted Equipment

A man was fishing on Lake Simcoe in Ontario when his boat capsized, throwing him overboard without a life jacket into the frigid Canadian water. Orillia firefighters quickly responded, and with the help of their newly granted rescue boat, retrieved the man from the water and transported him to shore. Paramedics then brought him to a nearby hospital where he made a full recovery.
