Trapped Driver and Passenger Freed from Motor Vehicle in Delaware

Three years after receiving their granted extrication equipment, Citizens’ Hose Company #1 in Smyrna, Delaware was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident. When they arrived, they found a car in the trees with the driver and passenger trapped inside. The battery-operated tools allowed them to maneuver around the trees, freeing both individuals before they were transported to the local trauma center for treatment and recovery.
