Evans Center Volunteer Fire Company received eight automated external defibrillators (AEDs) and accessories worth a combined $13,903. The awarded AEDs will be placed on emergency vehicles, helping ensure the department is prepared to provide medical assistance if an individual goes into cardiac arrest.
