Stranded Boater Rescued in Arizona

Flagstaff, AZ

In October 2023, Coconino County Sheriff’s Office in Flagstaff, Arizona used their awarded rescue boat to reach a stranded boater on Lake Mary. After being notified that the boat’s prop struck a rock and sheared off, the search and rescue team deployed the awarded boat to locate and assist the stranded boater. Upon reaching the boat, a line was thrown to the watercraft, allowing them to safely tow the patient back to shore.
