Getting the Right Tools in the Right Hands

Recently Hollywood Fire Rescue in Hollywood, Florida responded to multiple reports of a vehicle crash. They arrived on scene with their newly granted extrication tools to find a car pinned underneath a tractor trailer with the driver trapped inside. First responders immediately went to work stabilizing the vehicle and cutting the roof off the mangled wreckage to access the victim. Within 10 minutes, crews were able to free the victim and get him transported to the local hospital.
