Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation is celebrating $7,500 awarded to Autauga County Health Services.

Attendees include health services personnel, Firehouse Subs Area Representative David Conklin, Firehouse Subs Franchisees Justin Clark and Ryan Clark, and Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation Senior Manager of Foundation Development Meghan Vargas.

DONATION DESCRIPTION

Autauga County Health Services received six automatic external defibrillators (AEDs) worth $7,500. The awarded AEDs will replace old, outdated equipment, allowing medical staff to provide lifesaving assistance if an individual goes into cardiac arrest.

Through the non-profit 501(c)(3), Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation has given more than $17 million to hometown heroes in 44 states and Puerto Rico, including more than $1 million in Alabama.   

IN-RESTAURANT FUNDRAISING INITIATIVES

Each restaurant recycles leftover, five-gallon pickle buckets, available to guests for a $2 donation to the Foundation. Donation canisters on register counters explain the non-profit’s mission and collect spare change, while the Round Up Program allows guests to “round up” their bill to the nearest dollar. All funds raised benefit the Foundation.
