MORE THAN $32,000 AWARDED TO CITY OF DEER PARK FIRE DEPARTMENT

Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation is celebrating an equipment grant awarded to City of Deer Park Fire Department.

DONATION DESCRIPTION

City of Deer Park Fire Department received two chest compression systems worth $32,560. The awarded devices will assist firefighters by delivering uninterrupted chest compressions at a constant rate and depth to cardiac arrest patients, helping improve a patient’s chance of survival.

IN-RESTAURANT FUNDRAISING INITIATIVES

Each restaurant recycles leftover, five-gallon pickle buckets, available to guests for a $2 donation to the Foundation. Donation canisters on register counters explain the non-profit’s mission and collect spare change, while the Round Up Program allows guests to “round up” their bill to the nearest dollar. All funds raised benefit the Foundation.
