Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation
Over the past two decades, the Foundation has supported thousands of grants for vital equipment for first responders—ranging from lifesaving tools such as rescue boats and extrication equipment, to critical protective gear including bunker gear and ballistic vests. This equipment has directly saved hundreds of lives and strengthened communities across the country.

Helmets are specially designed to protect firefighters from falling debris, injury and heat.

These portable, battery-operated devices allow first responders, schools, and the public to be prepared to give lifesaving assistance on scene if a citizen goes into cardiac arrest.

A SCBA provides rescuers with breathable air to allow them to safely explore smoke-filled areas during fires or other dangerous situations.

Personal protective equipment worn by firefighters to protect them from heat and hazardous situations.

These cameras allow first responders to see through smoke, darkness and heat permeable barriers to help locate the source of a fire or victims in need of rescue.

The lightweight cutting, spreading and ram tools quickly and safely assist first responders with extricating victims in car accidents and structural collapses.
Cost: $25,000
This maneuverable vehicle allows for rapid response to off-road incidents and natural disasters, as well as easier access at large events.
Cost: $2,000 - $5,000
Two-way radios are engineered to ensure quick communication between dispatchers and first responders to ensure safety on the ground during emergencies.

Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and Firehouse Subs is the largest corporate supporter. Portions of the annual operating costs for Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation are kindly funded by Firehouse Subs. The remainder of the annual operating income comes from the generosity of individual and corporate donors.
